Music and Choirs

Children’s Choir is open to all children of the parish, grades K-8.  Rehearsals take place on Sunday
from 12:30pm-1:30pm.  Children’s Choir sings at the 4:00pm Christmas Eve Mass and at the 9:00am
Sunday Mass on Easter Sunday, as well as other special events or Masses as noted on the calendar each year.  Children may participate in one or more sessions each year. It is required to attend the rehearsals for the specific Mass or event they will be singing for.  For more information, contact childrenschoir@hfkparish.org.

Handbell Choir is a unique musical experience at Holy Family.  The choir’s purpose is to ring out
praise to the Lord through music.  The choir plays on feast days and other special occasions.  Some musical experience a plus but not required.  Rehearsals are held on Wednesday evenings in the school music room.  For more information, contact Pam Gunderson, bobpamgunderson@gmail.com.

King’s Choir provides music for the 9:00am Mass on Sunday morning as well as other special liturgies.  Rehearsals are held in the school music room, September through June, on Thursday evenings from 7:00 to 9:00pm.  For more information, contact Kerry O'Connor, kerryo@hfkparish.org.

Light House Band supports the Life Teen Mass at 5:00pm on Sunday evening.  Rehearsals are held in the church on Sundays before Mass from 3:30 to 5:00pm. Teens from grades 8 to 12 are welcome to sing with the group.  All adult and band openings are by audition only.
