Fr. Bryan Dolejsi

May the peace of the Risen Christ be with all of you. Transitions are challenging, even when there is time to prepare.  There is sadness and grief, but also gratitude and joy in the blessing of being together.  Thank you, all members of Holy Family parish and school for your faith, participation, prayers, and support.  I tried to serve in wisdom, joy, and kindness as your pastor.  My time here has renewed my priesthood and my strong desire to lead a parish community as a pastor.

This community is filled with immense faith, generosity, energy, and blessings.  Thank you for inspiring my faith with your love of God and the church.  I have fond memories of sacramental celebrations, teaching, collaborating with our staff, councils, and commissions, our youth and our elderly and everyone in between!  Our rich cultural diversity and wonderful hospitality is a blessing.  Know wherever I am you are welcome.  I am blessed to be a priest of the Archdiocese of Seattle knowing people from various communities around our local area, and now all of you from Kirkland!

As I take on new responsibilities starting July 1, I feel your prayers and support, and I am grateful.  I encourage you to remain faithful and flexible, trusting the Holy Spirit, as you become a new parish family with St. John Vianney.  Remain focused on the Risen Christ in the Eucharist.  Be kind and patient to your new priests.  And always, in all things, support one another in following Jesus.

May God Bless you now and always.
